Some call it the city of romance. Obviously, those people haven’t visited Paris in January.
I took a few hundred photos of the city during my week-long stay there. What struck me about Paris was the beautiful architecture and statues in the older parts of the city. This gallery includes 12 of my favorite photos that I took of Paris. Why 12? Because that’s what I chose.
Some photos feature placid scenes. Others show people on the street. There are a few I just thought were funny.

Even though it was a cold day, there were many tourists visiting the Eiffel Tower to see the famous view.
